Job Summary
The catalog system specialist will work directly with our customers to ensure changes to their catalog pricing are updated accurately, promptly, and seamlessly. Successful catalog system specialists will have exceptional customer service & communication skills, be resourceful and have a strong tenacity to solve problems. This is an exempt position reporting to the manager of the Industrial Support.
Responsibilities & Duties- Manage the electronic price update system in TIMS, including but not limited to analyzing vendor data, preparing files for conversion, subscriptions/transmissions, billing records, correspondence, schedules, and all interface with forms, vendors, customers.
- Act as a liaison between participating catalog vendors and CU TIMS customers.
- Respond to customer/vendor issues providing suitable solution on a timely basis. Research electronic price problems reported, correct, and find long term solutions and/or preventions.
- Provide training as needed.
- Assist with the successful execution of the annual users group conference. Will attend/participate, and may present and/or assist with development of presentations.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle competing deadlines.
- Willing to accept challenges and additional responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field strongly preferred.
- Experience in customer service, and using computers in a business environment is required. Experience in purchasing or inventory control preferred.
- Experience with TIMS preferred.
This position will be in office at our Billings, Montana location.
