Lead Custodian (Billings, MT)
Kadiak, LLC (a Koniag Government Services company) is seeking a Lead Custodian to support Kadiak and our government customer.
Responsibilities- Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff.
- Provide guidance and training to team members.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new staff.
- Oversee routine cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, etc.) and specialized cleaning projects.
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards.
- Develop cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Order and maintain cleaning supplies/equipment.
- Act as point of contact between staff and management.
- Liaise with other departments.
- Ensure adherence to federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations.
- Handle complex cleaning tasks and assist with setup/cleanup for special events.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Lead team in cleaning load balance for compliant results.
- Reports to CE.
- U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferably high school diploma).
- Experience in managing custodial care projects.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, hardworking, conscientious, cooperative, able to work independently.
- Custodial, carpet, and floor care experience.
- Advanced Custodial Technical Certification from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI).
