In this role, you’ll work closely with our procurement specialist, engineers, and production team to support material flow, track orders, and communicate with vendors.

You’ll gain exposure to precision hardware, supplier relationships, and the full build lifecycle of complex systems. Buyer/Procurement Support (Entry-Level)

Position Type: Full Time, On-Site

Location: Billings, MT

Support Procurement & Production Readiness

• Assist in the buying and procurement of cryostat components and related materials.
• Support the Procurement Specialist with purchase order creation, documentation, and coordination.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and order tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Follow up with vendors to confirm order status, pricing, and shipping dates.
• Track open purchase orders and proactively communicate delays or changes.
• Verify order details, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies, backorders, or shipping issues.

• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production to support material readiness for builds.
• Coordinate purchased components to align with production schedules and priorities.
• Work cross-functionally to help meet production goals and delivery deadlines.

• High-energy, positive attitude with a kind and approachable demeanor.
• Genuine enthusiasm for learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
• Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and follow-through.
• Comfort and confidence handling difficult or sensitive phone conversations.
