Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements
- Plan and perform machine setups, including selecting punches and dies
- Program and operate CNC press brake equipment to produce parts within tight tolerances
- Perform first-piece inspections and make machine adjustments as needed
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using appropriate measuring tools to ensure 100% quality compliance
- Document inspection results and enter work order data into the MRP system using RF scanner, keyboard, and mouse
- Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with engineering, production control, quality, and management teams
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards
- Follow all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Formal CNC machining education or equivalent experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Experience operating electrical pallet jacks, stand-up trucks, and overhead cranes preferred
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10+ hours per shift)
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions (heat, cold, noise, dust)
- Required PPE must be worn at all times
- Pay Transparency:
Starting at $22 DOE + Quarterly Bonus Opportunity - Weekly pay
- Typical Shift: Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm. The regular schedule is an average of 50 hours a week.
