Material Handler

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, using PPE and following company policy, and alert others regarding safety concerns. Safety is #1.
• Work with Production Scheduler, CNC Supervisor, Material Purchaser and Warehouse personnel to ensure the proper materials are identified, received and staged for saw work.
• Safely set up, operate and execute material cutting to meet print/cut slip requirements.
• Move material as necessary from receiving, storage and staging areas.
• Fully trained to operate the Hyd Mech S23‑A saw.
• Maintain material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and lifting devices safely.
• Maintain/clean equipment and workspace, tooling, and assist in maintaining consumable materials.
• Assist with miscellaneous needs including saw material movement/operation, shop waste removal, shop area organization, etc.
• Maintain good attendance record and uphold the highest professional conduct.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Work experience and/or education in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required.
