EssentialResponsibilities
- Compliance with all safety procedures.
- Operate the dryer to ensure proper bean moisture control.
- Provide routine cleaning of the grain dryer and surrounding areas.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Move materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
- Maintain inventory, records, and location of equipment and materials moved.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements (if applicable), and environmental regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production issues to supervisors.
- Take initiative and work efficiently.
- Be dependable and motivated to perform at a high level.
- Have a strong attention to detail.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Be willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.
- Understand and follow rules, procedures, and safety policies.
- Have basic reading, math, and communication skills.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (training provided).
- Carry 50 pounds.
- Lift up to 65 pounds.
- Push/pull up to 120 pounds.
This is a hands‑on industrial position. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, working around grain dust and industrial equipment, climbing ladders and stairs up to 120 feet high, and working rotating 12‑hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Typical schedule:
rotating swing shifts (8a–8p / 8p–8a). Multiple consecutive workdays followed by multiple days off.
