Forklift & Building Materials Operator

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Forklift & Building Materials Operator to safely move and stage lumber and building products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trucks, supply production lines, and organize inventory while following strict safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role requires attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and adherence to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload lumber and building materials.
• Stage and organize materials to support production lines and shipping schedules.
• Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures in a mill/warehouse setting.
• Verify material counts, labels, and quality against work orders or shipping documents.
• Assist with inventory organization and yard/warehouse housekeeping.
• Communicate with supervisors, loaders, and production teams to coordinate material flow.
• Support continuous improvement and safe work practices aligned with Weyerhaeuser's values.
