Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position in Billings, MT, requiring a Montana or Compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of PACU experience.

Job Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a regional hospital setting,

• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday,

• 40 hours per week, 4 days per week,

• Epic EMR used for charting,

• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need,

• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active MT or Compact RN license required - no pending licenses accepted,

• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required,

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS - all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the start of the assignment,

• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in the post-anesthesia setting,

• Performs health teaching, counseling, patient referrals, and reviews therapy and treatment plans,

• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines,

• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment,
