Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Orthopedics

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of med/surg ortho experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date)
• NRP or PALS may be required as appropriate for unit
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Work in a Med/Surg Orthopedics unit within a regional hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week, 36 hours per week)
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
  
  Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans; documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
