Registered Nurse Oncology Infusion PRN

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

• Shift Details:
  Flexible scheduling—caregiver may set their own days and hours, with a minimum commitment of at least one day per week. Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Unit/Department:
  Oncology Infusion Center at CCOM
• Additional Details:
  One year of licensed RN experience is required.

• Assess:
  Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate). Seeks and evaluates information acquired from other members of interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, non-nursing disciplines, support staff, others.
