Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to take the next step in your leadership career? Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of a resident care unit while supporting our nursing team and delivering exceptional care.
As a Unit Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring quality outcomes, mentoring staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and creating a positive environment for both residents and employees.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
Ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Complete and review nursing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
Promote infection prevention and safety standards throughout the unit.
Mentor and educate nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys.
Qualifications:
Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care.
