RN, Hospital - Nursing Resources/Float Pool (0.9 FTE)

Position: NURSING RESOURCES (BILLINGS CLINIC HOSPITAL)

Shift: Varies

Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period: 72 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt)

Starting Wage DOE: $38.91 - 61.21

Relocation/Tuition Support

Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and theoretical/clinical skills in the promotion/maintenance of health. Incorporates evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards and which support quality outcomes. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care. Directs the plan of care while maintaining professionalism.
  • Utilize a holistic approach and evidence-based nursing practices to develop a goal-directed plan of care for the patient; collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to execute the plan of care based on patient needs.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the patient medical record in accordance with patient condition and guidelines.
  • Adhere to safety standards, policies and practices; anticipate and identify problems and safety issues and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain appropriate skills and knowledge of equipment, pharmacology and laboratory values relevant to the area and disease processes.
  • Apply evidence-based practice supported by nursing research within the specialty area.
  • Use performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of patient care; engage with Magnet Model in transforming the work environment and nursing care.
  • Take responsibility for own professional growth and development; meet system and department educational requirements.
  • Demonstrate collaborative, supportive, and caring behaviors in communication with patients, families, visitors, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assess care needs based on population-specific considerations and ensure appropriate care delivery.
Minimum Qualifications Education
  • Minimum Associate Degree, ASN
  • ASN RNs with less than 5 years of RN experience must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years after…
