Critical Access Hospital Rn Contract
This role offers a 13-week contract in a critical access hospital near Billings, Montana, with housing provided. The RN will deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ED and Swing Bed/LTC units, working night shifts and weekend blocks. Competitive pay, benefits, and support are included.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department and Swing Bed/LTC units
- Assess patient conditions promptly, develop individualized care plans, and execute nursing interventions efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and facilitate effective communication
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility policies
- Adhere strictly to facility protocols and safety guidelines, especially during high-pressure situations in a critical access hospital setting
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years of ER and Swing Bed/LTC experience
- Valid Montana RN license
- Ability to work night shifts and block weekend scheduling
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability to high-pressure situations
Skills:
- Prior critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
