American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Hospital-based Emergency Department setting - 13-week contract assignment
- Variable 12-hour mid shifts, either 1p-1a or 3p-3a
- 3 shifts per week totaling 36 hours weekly
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) in Montana required, must be active and not pending upon consideration
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required and must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service, must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic EMR charting experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while performing health teaching and counseling
- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
