Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions using evidence-based practices and technology.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegates and coordinates care, monitors patient responses, and ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Holds a current RN license, preferably with a BSN from an accredited institution, and BLS certification. Demonstrates strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Performs comprehensive assessments, develops and revises care plans, directs care delivery, and evaluates patient outcomes. Maintains professionalism and promotes nursing standards within a safe, patient-centered environment.

Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, lift, move, and assist with patient transportation, often in busy or emergency settings.
