Develops objectives, policies, and procedures for department cost centers to formalize and implement the mission, vision, and values of Billings Clinic. Maintains the standards, customer relations, and practice in a designated service line. Accountabilities include: quality of services; short and long range planning to achieve goals and objectives; fiscal control; physician and interdepartmental/intradepartmental relations; personnel management.
Essential Job Functions- Direct and Oversee Endoscopy Department.
- Ensure safe, efficient patient-flow from referral through procedure and follow-up.
- Optimize provider schedules endoscopy block utilization.
- Monitor patient access, appointment availability, wait times, and throughput.
- Develop workflows that improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate services between the clinic, endoscopy, anesthesia, pathology, surgery, radiology,
and inpatient units. - In collaboration with physician leadership and other medical staff, administration, and other health care providers, develops and implements short- and long-range plans, and leads, develops and revises programs which enhance department services.
- Partner closely with gastroenterologists, surgeons, anesthesia providers and APP’s.
- Direct and Oversee Endoscopy Department.
