Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and team collaboration. Key duties include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans with input from patients and families, directing interdisciplinary care, and evaluating patient responses to interventions. The RN promotes professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, providing accurate documentation, and participating in the development of colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills- Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transfer within 60 days.
- BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and patient evaluation.
- Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, and manipulate equipment with manual dexterity.
- Capability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and supplies, including navigating busy environments.
- May require standing for extended periods and driving as needed.
