Description:
NICU RN 3x12 nights from 19:00 to 07:30. There is a call requirement of up to 4 call shifts in an 8-week period. Floating is primarily within the service line but may be asked to float to any unit as a safety sitter. Candidates will float within the facility or to an affiliate as agreed during the interview. Staffing ratios will be 2-3 patients per nurse.
The unit supports neonates, infants, and pediatrics. Familiarity with patient ages, including those 25 weeks and above and NICU staff attending high-risk deliveries, is essential. Specific skills include administration of medications, IV management, and monitoring various conditions. Experience in high-risk scenarios and special procedures in a level III NICU environment is also required. Candidates must possess the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support staff.
