Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Location not specified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health teaching, counseling, and documentation to support patient recovery and well-being.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor of Nursing preferred);
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; experience requirement: 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Certification as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  Performs health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, patient referral, therapy and treatment plan monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, and execution of medical functions. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May also be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
