American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring MT or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly
- May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for clinical documentation
- Active MT or compact RN license required, with no pending license accepted
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service, and must not expire prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
- Epic charting experience required
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while performing health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Provide direct and indirect patient therapy through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
- Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least two weeks to process
