American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Ortho position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and EPIC charting proficiency.

• Med/Surg Orthopedic unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May require floating to other departments based on competency and qualifications
• May require on-call availability during scheduled shifts
• EPIC EMR used for charting

• Active RN license (MT or Compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in Med/Surg Ortho specialty required
• EPIC charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor treatment plans and refer patients as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
