American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic charting system
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

• Active RN license (MT or compact) required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU specialty required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient recovery
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with team through consultation, delegation, and supervision as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position

The $2,646 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
