Registered Nurse - Med​/Ortho

Role:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the healthcare team.

• Responsibilities:
  Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs; develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement; coordinate and delegate care to interdisciplinary teams; monitor and evaluate patient responses; revise care plans as necessary; uphold professional, legal, and ethical standards through accurate documentation.
• Skills:
  
  Patient care delivery, interdisciplinary collaboration, effective communication, critical thinking, documentation, and patient evaluation.
• Qualifications:
  
  Current RN license in the practice state, BLS certification, and if less than 12 months experience, obtain a BSN within four years. Preferred qualifications include a BSN from an accredited institution.

Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, assist with patient mobility, and navigate busy environments. Driving may be required depending on the role.
