American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a MT or compact RN license and Epic charting experience.

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients
• Performs health teaching and counseling, and provides supportive and restorative therapy
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
