American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring neuro experience and Trauma Level II background.
Details- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- On-call requirements of 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
- Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required, though candidates may be submitted without a MT license initially
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 1 year of ICU experience preferred
- Neuro experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required;
Trauma Level I and teaching/community hospital experience preferred - Epic charting experience preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, chemo embolization, TIPS, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, and vascular closure systems
- Experience with procedural sedation monitoring, ACT interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
- References required for consideration
- Join a dynamic team providing comprehensive interventional radiology care including vascular, neurological, pulmonary, and genitourinary procedures
- Located near Yellowstone and Big Sky country, offering scenic recreational opportunities on days off
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted at travel rate
- Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning
- Skills utilized include IV therapy, ventilator management, pressure ulcer assessment, and radiation/laser safety protocols
