American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring Trauma Level II experience and prior travel contract experience.

• Observation unit caring for chest pain rule-out and cardiac patients
• Supports the ED by holding patients when the hospital is at capacity
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• No floating to other units or affiliate hospitals unless otherwise agreed upon at offer

• Active RN license (MT state license or compact) required
• BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including Trauma Level II experience
• Trauma Level I, teaching hospital, and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• At least one prior travel contract required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Cardiac and telemetry experience required
• References required for consideration

• Care for cardiac telemetry, ER holding, and observation patients
• Skilled in cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response/code team utilization
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in employment before returning
• Candidates with license or background history will be considered on a case-by-case basis
