American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least one year of ED experience.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for clinical documentation
- Active RN license (MT state or compact) required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
- Perform health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adhere to service behavior standards
- Certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date
- Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
