Acuren is currently recruiting for NDT Assistants to support our operation in Billings, MT. The role includes performing calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Location requirements: we are currently seeking local candidates who are based in Billings, Montana. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.
Responsibilities- Assist in performing calibrations
- Perform nondestructive tests
- Evaluation for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions
- Record results
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Technical background desired
- Must have experience, credentials, and history to be certified as trustworthy and reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
- Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
- Based in Billings, Montana
- 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred
- Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain
- IRRSP card preferred
