Reports to:

Sales Supervisor.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Monday—Saturday, overtime as needed.

This position ensures the sales floor is stocked, organized, and presentable. Provides excellent customer service, accurate cashiering, and ensures inventory is properly stocked and rotated. Maintains a clean and customer‑focused environment.

• Customer service and cashiering: greet customers, operate cash register, credit card terminal, and POS equipment accurately and courteously.
• Merchandising and stocking: stock, rotate, straighten merchandise on shelves, racks, and sales displays, and assist with maintaining a clean, organized, attractive sales floor.

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

• Ability to operate POS equipment and handle cash accurately.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

Position does not require driving.

Continued employment contingent upon a biennial background check in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies.

• Ability to maneuver, remain stationary, grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead, lift 25‑50 pounds, access and produce information from the POS, operate telephone, understand written information.
