The Store Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Billings, MT, responsible for leading store associates to deliver an engaging, inclusive, and customer-centric experience. This role oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising standards, inventory management, and adherence to company policies. The Store Team Leader supports and coaches team members through ongoing training, performance feedback, and clear communication of goals and expectations.
They actively engage with customers on the sales floor, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service. The role also collaborates with store and district leadership to drive sales, execute promotions, and contribute to a positive, fun, and safe work environment.
- Customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a demonstrated ability to create welcoming, engaging experiences.
- Strong Communication skills to provide clear direction, give feedback, and collaborate effectively with customers, associates, and leadership.
- Experience in Training and coaching store associates to build skills, support development, and maintain brand and service standards.
- Store Management capabilities, including overseeing daily operations, staffing, merchandising, and adherence to company policies.
- Previous retail or leadership experience in a customer-facing environment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
- Proven problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
