Role Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers both face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness.
- Builds rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments; effectively uses digital tools to maintain customer engagement.
- Uses internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly leverages product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded value propositions and uses approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources, as applicable.
- Collaborates compliantly across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience OR associate’s degree with 6+ years OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years; experience in one or more of:
- Professional Sales/Promotional Activity
- Small Business Owner/entrepreneurial, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management
- Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.)
- Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal)
- Full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record meeting company standards; DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
- 1 year of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical-related marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; strong territory management, communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with applicable disease states/therapeutic area/products.
- Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets.
- Reside within territory boundaries.
