Summary
:
The Member Experience Associate is primarily responsible for delivering outstanding service and value to our members through genuine care, personal service, and meeting needs and expectations across multiple branch locations. In addition to delivering service, the associate is directly accountable for achieving individual sales targets and is measured as an individual contributor. This position rotates between branches depending on business needs.

• Perform fundamental customer interactions including member services and product sales
• Apply consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and close opportunities
• Promote AAA products and services to members to achieve individual and branch goals
• Adapt communication style and solutions to each branch environment
• Maintain knowledge of AAA products, services, and systems across branches
• Adhere to branch operations, standard operating procedures and compliance, including DMV/MVD, Auto, Travel, Unlicensed Insurance, Services, Smart Home Security
• Work independently as a primary contributor while collaborating with the team

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a sales role
• Strong customer service orientation, problem solving, and active listening skills
• Sales experience in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industry, or call center; proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and applications; ability to adapt to varying system configurations across branches
• Current and valid driver's license; bonding/fingerprinting and P&C licensing may be required depending on branch needs
• Availability on Saturdays; willing to travel between locations

• Experience with defined sales standards and goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Experience in customer service and cross‑functional roles across multiple AAA skill areas

• Office‑based role in branch locations requiring standing, walking, or sitting at a desk or computer workstation
• Extended periods of time at a video display terminal; up to 15 pounds may need to be lifted
• Flexibility with work shifts, covering different locations, including Saturdays; may travel by car or plane for business meetings

A member experience associate occupies a role that supports a not‑for‑profit, membership‑based organization serving members across Northern California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Wyoming, and Montana.
