The mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other various equipment. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles. Follows all safety and environmental policies while performing job tasks. Candidate shall be able to perform inspections, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of various Crane/Truck equipment including mobile cranes (all terrain, rough terrain, boom trucks, etc.). Must have experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics in modern crane technology.
Responsibilities- Supply your own tools with up-to-date tool inventory (we have a variety of specialty tools in the shop)
- Perform scheduled maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and other equipment
- Document all maintenance and repairs performed on the equipment and file records properly
- Maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Work with minimal supervision
- Lifting 40 lbs.
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (a plus)
- Work some evenings and weekends at the shop
- Verbal communication of safety issues to customers and co-workers on location before and during job task
- Report to Supervisor and/or Lead Mechanic on completion of assigned job task for next assignment

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Trade school diploma preferred
- 3-7 years of performing maintenance and repairs on hydraulic crane
- Current Texas Department of Public Safety class C Driver’s License
- Ability to interpret, read, and write reports in English
- Mechanical and analytical skills required
- Ability to interpret, read, and troubleshoot using schematic
- Ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate crane by viewing hand signals
