Project Crane Riggers – Montana TA

We are looking for experienced Project Crane Riggers to safely operate specialized lifting equipment and support on‑site operations in Montana.

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring the correct selection and setup of cranes, lifts, or hoists.
• Inspect and assess ground conditions and potential overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities.
• Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, responding to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes.
• Current TWIC card.
• Successful completion of post‑offer drug and physical screens and a background meeting company requirements.
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
• Current NCCCR Crane Operators License for qualified equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials, or instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, safety regulations, and to maintain records.
• Strong ability to work well within a team environment.

• Strong depth perception and quick reaction time.
• Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move a minimum of 65 pounds.
• Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs, and operate machinery.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

Daily Per Diem.
