Environmental Technician
AECOM is currently seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team in Billings, MT. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team to support remediation system operation and maintenance and environmental monitoring projects in the Montana region.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine activities associated with operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems and general equipment maintenance.
- Track operating parameters of environmental treatment systems.
- Assist in collection of environmental field data under the direction of experienced staff.
- Travel to work sites that may require overnight stays up to one week per month; all travel costs will be paid by AECOM.
This position requires completion of OSHA 40‑hour hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER) and other safety training, which will be provided at no cost to the successful candidate.
Preferred Qualifications- Mechanical experience such as pump repair, plumbing, auto maintenance, or similar.
- Environmental experience is not required; on‑job training and required safety training will be provided.
