Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets
• Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Perform work in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policy, and environmental guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification plus 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or commercial HVAC/R and building controls; or 4 years of relevant experience
• Where required, HVAC-R/mechanical journeyman qualification
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions in the last 5 years
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last 3 years
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last 3 years
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to move up and down ladders and work at heights frequently
• Ability to complete required safety training
• Preferred: completion of a 2-year vocational or technical HVAC/R program
• Preferred: experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• Preferred: mechanical license in the city or state where the job is located
• Preferred: experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Preferred: experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Demonstrates expertise in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, including compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and digital tools for effective repair and maintenance of facility equipment.
