Plains is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician I to support safe, reliable operation of pipeline and terminal assets. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems including motors, MCCs, PLCs, transmitters, analyzers, and control valves. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, loop checks, and start‑up support while following strict safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
The technician will document work, interpret drawings, support projects and upgrades, and collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams in a performance-driven, safety‑first culture.
