Cross Country Freight Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-focused ClassD Non‑CDL Driver to join our growing team! To be successful in this role, the driver will drive a company motor vehicle to transfer freight to and from specified locations by a specified time. Unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.

Completes all paperwork required by government regulations and Company procedures / policies.

• Drive a straight truck, or box truck, in a safe and legal manner.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain driving records required to comply with State and Federal regulations, including drivers’ logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, etc.
• Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a service center as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor.
• Stay in contact with the service center dispatcher or appropriate supervisor via radio, pager, or phone to keep them informed of current status and to receive further instructions.
• Complete and process the company’s shipping documents according to Company procedures.
• Ensure that all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that the appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
• Deliver shipping documentation to the appropriate employees.
• Load or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a Company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at service center, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight, when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have a valid ClassD Driver’s License for the state in which the employee resides.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for insurability.
• Must receive a negative test result on a pre‑employment controlled substances test.
• Must be able to expertly maneuver a straight truck, or box truck, in difficult driving conditions.
• Should have a good working knowledge of DOT driver and vehicle regulations.
• Must be very familiar with the area being served.
• Previous freight handling, forklift, and electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service‑oriented attitude.
• This position requires successful completion of a pre‑employment skills assessment.
