Position: Shuttle Driver – CDL
Hours: Full Time
Rate of pay: $30.00 per hour
Housing Available: Shared Housing

• Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience that is guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each customer interaction is a positive experience.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
• Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license to be carried with the driver, at all times, while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than high school or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License:
  Valid CDL Class A, B or C with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card:
  Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• Availability:
  Special shift requirements may apply; availability to work 3rd shift and/or week‑ends may be required.

  Skills:
  
  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to add, subtract two‑digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; perform these operations using units of American money.
• Appearance:
  Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands:
  Regular standing, walking, handling cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing or balancing; may lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
