Location:

Billings, MT

Pay: $30 - $34/hr (based on experience and qualification).

Employment type:

Full-time with overtime.

The semi-truck driver is responsible for cement powder’s short and long-haul delivery. You will be home every night and an integral part of exciting projects. Take ownership of your role by performing inspections and maintenance on the truck, maintaining courteous customer relations, and working with a team that feels like family.

• Operate a semi safely and productively to haul cement powder and miscellaneous support equipment as needed.
• Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as needed.
• Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with equipment repairs as needed.
• Set up and tear down job sites when moving to and from locations (as needed).
• Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns.
• Properly secure loads to meet laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Team player mentality and eagerness to cross-train on topics such as dispatching, batching, mechanics, etc.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
• Class A CDL with doubles and pneumatic cement bulker hauling and Medical DOT card.
• Personal protective equipment is required.
• Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.
• Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
• A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
• Overnight travel is not standard but may be required.
