Receiving Warehouse Associate – Express Employment Professionals

Location: Billings, MT Schedule: Monday–Friday Pay:18+DOE, with overtime opportunities

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Receiving Warehouse Associate to support daily inbound operations for a busy, fast-paced warehouse. This role focuses on unloading shipments, verifying incoming materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe, efficient receiving area. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.

• Unload incoming freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.

• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.

• Inspect incoming materials for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.

• Label, sort, and stage products for storage or distribution.

• Maintain organized receiving docks, staging areas, and inventory zones.

• Update inventory systems with accurate counts and documentation.

• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth flow of materials.

• Follow all safety procedures, proper lifting techniques, and equipment protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience required

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Basic computer or scanner proficiency for inventory entry.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

• Forklift experience a plus; certification provided if needed.
