Accountant, Financial Reporting

We’re hiring an Accountant looking to build a long-term career with a collaborative team and get exposure across a high-volume, operationally complex environment in the Biloxi area.

In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key part in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

• Support month-end close, including preparation and review of income statements, balance sheets, and departmental financials
• Perform reconciliations, audits, and financial analysis across multiple business units
• Respond to internal requests and provide back-up documentation as needed
• Assist with state and federal tax filings while ensuring timelines and compliance requirements are met
• Use Excel heavily to analyze, reconcile, and report on data across multiple systems
• Manage deadlines and ensure all work is completed accurately, especially during close cycles

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Workday and/or Adaptive Planning experience
• Experience with Mississippi sales and use tax
• Salary: $44,000 – $70,000 depending on experience and skill set
