Department

The successful candidate will be responsible for instruction of non‑majors courses in human anatomy, physiology, and human biology. The candidate will also participate in department recruitment events and provide departmental faculty service.

Job Summary

Performs the function of teaching with renewable contracts. Not eligible for tenure.

Job Description

Persons with the rank of instructor shall be hired for teaching duties but shall not be tenure track. Contracts are renewable at the discretion of the university.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching human anatomy and physiology courses for non‑majors and demonstrating a commitment to pedagogical innovation and inclusivity in the classroom.
Education Qualifications
  • PhD in Biology or a related field (required). M.S. in Biology or related field (preferred for instructor).
Experience
  • Experience teaching human anatomy and physiology courses for non‑majors.
