Job Summary

Performs the function of teaching with renewable contracts. Not eligible for tenure.

Job Description

Persons with the rank of instructor shall be hired for teaching duties but shall not be tenure track. The contracts will be renewable at the discretion of the University.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teaching first‑year courses, including Writ 101 and 102
  • Participating in the ongoing evaluation and revision of curricula
  • Contributing to a professional development community within the DWR
  • Contributing to distributed assignment, course, and program assessments
  • Serving the department, as assigned
