Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop lesson plans, and prepare students for performances and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and repairs that enhance student progress. Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to support student progress and performance goals
• Prepare students for recitals, school programs, and auditions
• Assess student skills and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student progress
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory sales related to students' needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and materials to keep students engaged
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school educators as appropriate
• Participate in store events and community outreach that promote music education
