* Design and develop mechanical components for power and distribution transformers
* Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models aligned with specifications
* Perform calculations for strength, vibration, thermal expansion, and structural integrity
* Partner with electrical engineers to deliver optimized, integrated designs
* Support manufacturing teams with technical guidance and design improvements
* Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEA activities
* Collaborate with suppliers on material selection and component validation
* Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.### Your background
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in transformers or heavy equipment
* Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and mechanical design principles
* Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor
* Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, CSA)
* Analytical mindset with strong problem‐solving and attention to detail### More about us
