Marine Minerals Analyst / Domain Specialist
Location:
Remote
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000
Position Status:
Full Time; with benefits

Contingent upon contract being awarded.
Key Responsibilities- Support Phase 0 analysis, including document review, benchmarking, and options analysis.
- Characterize current-state critical minerals workflows, datasets, and gaps.
- Analyze technical feasibility and data readiness.
- Map high-level lifecycle workflows and functional groupings.
- Work independently and provide technical assistance and guidance on GIS issues and statistical techniques.
- Solve GIS task-oriented problems with only a general description of the desired end product.
- Provide assistance to others on GIS task-oriented problems.
- Be responsible for database requirement models and details within development tasks.
- Conduct technical reviews of other GIS analyst work when necessary to solve problems or improve functionality.
- Write papers, develop procedure documentation, and develop presentation materials.
- Present project results to small and large groups.
- Provide training to others in the use and application of GIS for real-world applications.
- May supervise others.
- Understanding of critical mineral deposit types, marine geology, and lifecycle processes.
- Experience utilizing and interpreting geophysical, geologic, and regulatory datasets.
- Ability to benchmark domestic and international mineral resource programs.
- Strong analytical writing and synthesis skills for leadership-ready reports.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance on GIS issues and statistical techniques.
- Ability to conduct technical reviews of GIS analyst work when necessary to solve problems or improve functionality.
- Ability to develop procedure documentation and presentation materials.
- Ability to present findings to small and large groups.
- Ability to provide training to others in the use and application of GIS for real-world applications.
- BA/BS degree.
- 7 years of experience.
