Works in Operations Engineering Department under general supervision of a degreed engineer to support asset management and life-cycle optimization of Keesler AFB roads and pavements.
** Responsibilities*
* + Manage requirements identification and prioritization for roadway and pavement systems
+ Work with Operations to develop and implement a program to analyze the condition of sidewalks, roads and other pavement areas and make recommendations for infrastructure longevity and improvement
+ Conduct infrastructure system assessments and maintain asset databases
+ Conduct root cause analysis of infrastructure failures and provide recommendations for system improvements
+ Analyze customer work requests to validate requirements, estimate workload/material costs and make design recommendations
+ Support post-storm recovery infrastructure assessments
+ Develop/update/manage Asset Management Portfolios (AMP) and sub-AMP(s) for airfield pavements and base-wide road network
+ Perform other related duties as assigned
** Qualifications*
* + 10 years' relevant work experience in pavement maintenance
+ Associate's degree in engineering technology or formal training equivalent
+ Certifications appropriate for level of experience
+ Ability to pass a National Agency (NCIC) background check
