Biloxi, MS | On-Site Full-Time | $25 – 33/hr, depending on experience

Summary:

The Structural Drafter/Designer will be responsible for reading plans and working with the Engineers to complete a project, which includes, setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so that the Engineers can design the project in timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• The successful drafting candidate will report to the drafting Manager or the Senior Engineer and will be responsible for carrying out tasks that are delegated.
• The Drafting technician will be responsible for reading plans and working with the Engineers to complete a project, which includes, setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so that the Engineers can design the project.
• The drafter shall assist the Engineers in any way possible for the project to be completed in the time frame given by our clients.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• 3+ years drafting experience, emphasis on structural in the vertical construction field
• The ability to read plans and look at sections given to us by our clients
• The ability to draft from the plans and sections to show the structural elements required to make the building be structurally sound
