Guest Room Attendant (Swing Shift) - Full & Part Time - Harrah's Gulf Coast Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned, as necessary. How You Will Create the Extraordinary- Sign-out radio.
- Guestroom cleaning: late check-outs, occupied request, move rooms, and ECO’s.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner, notify Dispatch when complete.
- Clean and organize locker rooms. Make sleep sofas, roll away beds as assigned.
- Must be able to cross‑train and be able to perform all functions.
- Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars’s and encourages others to do the same.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Suggests products, services and experiences to guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.
- Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
- Must present a well‑groomed appearance.
- Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
- Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership.
- Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
- Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
- Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e‑cigarette vapor.
- Ability to tolerate the smell and residue of cleaning products used in work and back‑of‑house areas.
- Responds to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Able to push, pull and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Able to tolerate a loud and noisy environment.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to sit, stoop, reach and bend.
- Must be able to cross‑train and be able to perform all functions.
